Check-in and Check-out

Check-in is from 14:00 (2:00 pm). Check-out is at 12:00 noon.

If you arrive before 14:00, we are happy to store your luggage securely while your room is prepared. Subject to availability, early check-in from 12:00 noon can be arranged at a 5% surcharge on your room rate.

Early check-in from 12:00 noon is available subject to room availability, at a 5% surcharge on your nightly room rate. If a room in your category is not ready, we will store your luggage at no charge and contact you as soon as access is possible.

For arrivals before 12:00 noon, we recommend pre-booking the previous night to guarantee immediate room access on arrival.

Best Western Rewards members enjoy a complimentary late check-out until 14:00, subject to availability.

For all other guests, late check-out beyond 12:00 noon is charged at NGN 50,000 per hour. Please request this before 09:00 on your day of departure at reception or by dialling 0.

Yes. Online check-in is available through the Best Western web check-in portal. This allows you to complete your registration details in advance and collect your key on arrival with minimal waiting time at reception.

Your Room

Every room at Best Western Plus Ambience Hotel Ikeja includes a 55-inch HD Smart TV with satellite channels, high-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning with individual climate control, a mini-bar, in-room safe, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, and complimentary toiletries.

Rooms are fully serviced daily. Extra pillows, blankets or any in-room items can be requested from housekeeping at extension 2.

Yes. Room service is available from our D'Luxe Dining menu. To order, dial extension 4 from your room telephone. A full all-day menu is available. Please note that a room service tray charge applies.

Wake-up calls can be arranged by dialling reception at extension 0. Please make this request before retiring for the night. Alternatively, the Smart TV in your room has a built-in alarm clock function.

Your room mini-bar is stocked with a selection of soft drinks, water, beer, wine and snacks. All items are individually priced and will be charged to your room account on consumption. The mini-bar is restocked daily during housekeeping. To request additional items or specific drinks, dial housekeeping at extension 2.

Dining and Breakfast

Breakfast is served at D'Luxe Dining from 7:00 am to 10:00 am Monday to Saturday. On Sundays and public holidays, breakfast runs until 12:00 noon.

D'Luxe also serves a full buffet: Breakfast 7:00 to 10:30 am, Lunch 12:00 to 3:00 pm, Dinner 7:00 to 11:00 pm daily. To reach D'Luxe Dining, dial extension 4.

The hotel has four dining outlets:

  • D'Luxe Dining: our main restaurant. Full buffet and a la carte menu, all-day dining. Extension 4.
  • Skyline Lounge: rooftop bar and lounge. Open 4:00 pm to 6:00 am. Cocktails, wines, spirits and bar snacks. Extension 6.
  • Pool Bar: poolside drinks and light meals during pool hours. Extension 7.
  • Crumb & Brew: casual coffee, fresh pastries and light bites from early morning. Extension 3.

The Skyline Lounge is open from 4:00 pm to 6:00 am daily. The lounge serves cocktails, wine, spirits, beer and an evening bar snack menu. It is one of the best views of the Ikeja skyline available from any licensed premises in the area. To make a reservation or enquire about events, dial extension 6.

Yes. Our kitchen team can accommodate vegetarian, vegan, halal, gluten-free and most allergy-specific requirements with advance notice. Please inform us of any dietary needs at the time of booking or by dialling D'Luxe at extension 4 before your meal. For complex medical dietary requirements, please advise us at least 24 hours in advance.

Wi-Fi and Connectivity

The hotel Wi-Fi network is named BWPAMBIENCE. The password is provided at check-in on your key card envelope. Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available in all guest rooms, the lobby, all meeting rooms and throughout the hotel's public areas.

Yes. The hotel operates a fibre-backed connection that supports video conferencing, large file transfers and simultaneous multi-device use. For dedicated bandwidth guarantees during presentations or live-streamed events, wired connections are available in the Business Centre and can be extended to meeting rooms on request. Hotel Facilities

The outdoor swimming pool is open daily from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. Pool towels are available at the poolside. The Pool Bar (extension 7) serves drinks and light meals during pool hours.

Yes. The hotel gymnasium is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is complimentary for all in-house guests. The gym is equipped with cardio machines, free weights and resistance equipment. For any gym-related enquiries, dial extension 1009.

The Business Centre is located on the second floor and is open 24 hours. Services include printing, photocopying, scanning, courier and express mail, fax, private workstations and internet access.

CCTV cameras are in operation across all common areas of the hotel around the clock. A trained security team is on duty 24 hours a day. Your room is fitted with an electronic key card system and an in-room safe for valuables. For security-related concerns, contact reception at extension 0 immediately.

Spa and Wellness

Essence Spa is open daily from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm. Treatments include deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, facials, body wraps and nail care, among others. Booking in advance is strongly recommended to secure your preferred time slot.

The swimming pool and gymnasium are complimentary for all in-house guests. Spa treatments are charged separately at the applicable menu rates. Long stay guests receive preferential spa access as part of their package. To view the treatment menu, contact the spa at extension 5.

Laundry and Housekeeping

Yes. Same-day laundry and dry cleaning services are available. Items submitted by 9:00 am are typically returned by 6:00 pm the same day. To arrange laundry collection, dial housekeeping at extension 2. Laundry bags and price lists are available in your wardrobe.

Rooms are serviced daily. Full linen changes are carried out twice per week during extended stays, or more frequently on request. If you prefer not to have your room serviced on a particular day, please display the Do Not Disturb card on your door handle. For additional housekeeping requests at any time, dial extension 2.

Simply dial housekeeping at extension 2 for any in-room requests — extra towels, additional toiletries, pillows, blankets or any other items. Our team will respond promptly.

Parking and Transport

Yes. Complimentary secured parking is available for all in-house guests on the hotel premises. The car park is monitored by CCTV and hotel security staff. Please collect a parking pass from reception upon check-in.

Murtala Muhammed International Airport is approximately 8 km from the hotel, around 10 to 15 minutes by road outside peak traffic hours. The Domestic Terminal is approximately 6 km away.

The hotel can arrange a dedicated airport transfer vehicle. Please advise reception of your flight details at least 24 hours before arrival by dialling 0 or contacting us by email. Alternatively, Bolt and inDriver are widely available at both airport terminals.

Bolt and inDriver are the most reliable ride-hailing services in Lagos and are available at the hotel entrance. For longer itineraries or full-day corporate use, the hotel can arrange a dedicated driver. Speak to reception at extension 0 for recommendations and arrangements.

Building extra travel time into any cross-city journey is advisable. Lagos peak hours are typically 7:00 to 9:30 am and 4:30 to 7:30 pm. Consult our for detailed transport tips.

Meetings and Events

We have five dedicated event spaces:

  • Awhum Conference Hall: 75.85 sqm. Up to 80 guests theatre-style.
  • Olumo Meeting Room: 45.51 sqm. Up to 40 guests theatre-style.
  • Combined Awhum and Olumo: 122 sqm combined. Up to 120 guests theatre-style.
  • Zuma Boardroom: 106.8 sqm. 20 guests boardroom configuration. Video conferencing equipped.
  • Adire Event Centre: 141.8 sqm. Up to 300 guests reception-style. Full stage and dancefloor.

Yes. Group accommodation blocks are available for conferences, training programmes and corporate events. Preferential group rates apply to bookings of 10 or more rooms. Contact our Events team to discuss accommodation blocks alongside event space requirements. All group enquiries can be directed to the hotel's Front Office Manager at fom@bestwesternplusambinceikeja.com.

Children and Extra Beds

Children aged 12 years and under stay complimentary when sharing a room with their parent or guardian and using existing bedding. No additional charge applies for the room. Meals and other services consumed by children are charged at the applicable rates.

An extra bed can be added to eligible room types at a charge of NGN 50,000 per night, excluding breakfast. This is subject to room size and availability. Please request an extra bed at the time of booking or at check-in by speaking to reception at extension 0.

Hotel Policies

The hotel is entirely non-smoking. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all guest rooms, corridors, restaurants, the pool area and all other indoor spaces. Designated outdoor smoking areas are available. A cleaning fee of NGN 100,000 will be charged to any guest found to have smoked in a non-smoking area.

Quiet hours are observed between 11:00 pm and 6:00 am. Guests are asked to keep noise levels low during these hours to ensure a comfortable night for all. For any noise disturbance during quiet hours, please report it to reception at extension 0 and the matter will be addressed promptly.

Pets are not permitted at Best Western Plus Ambience Hotel Ikeja, with the exception of certified assistance animals. Guests travelling with an assistance animal should notify the hotel at the time of booking. For assistance, dial reception at extension 0.

Non-resident visitors are welcome in the hotel's public areas — the lobby, restaurants, bar and pool area during opening hours. Access to guest room floors requires a valid room key card. For security purposes, all visitors must be registered at reception. The hotel reserves the right to restrict access in line with its guest safety procedures.
